2. Platform operator (processor)
This website runs on a platform operated by Eventful Works FlexCo · Linz, Österreich · FN 679405a · Managing director: Simon Alexander Schroffner · office@eventfulworks.com. The operator processes personal data only on behalf of and as instructed by the organiser (Art. 28 GDPR) and does not use it for its own purposes.
3. What we process and why
Server logs: IP address, time, requested page and browser identifier are processed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are kept only briefly and deleted regularly.
Login: if you log in (e.g. to vote or save events) we process your e-mail address and send you a one-time code. Codes expire after 15 minutes (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Sign-ups, competition entries, exhibitor applications and sponsorship requests: we process the data you enter (e.g. name, e-mail, answers, uploaded images or files) to handle your sign-up or request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Approved competition entries are shown publicly with the name you chose.
Voting: we store which entry your account voted for, to enforce the voting rules. Votes are not published per person.
Contact form: we process your name, e-mail and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
E-mails: we send e-mails needed for these functions (login code, confirmations) and information about the event to people who have an account or signed up. You can object at any time by e-mail to the organiser.
4. Cookies and local storage
We set one technically necessary cookie ("session") only when you log in; it keeps you logged in for up to 30 days and is deleted when you log out. Your browser also stores which notification you have already seen. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
Fonts and images are served from our own servers; no third-party services are loaded when you visit. External sites (ticket shop, social networks, Google Calendar) are only contacted when you click such a link.
5. Recipients
Your data is only shared with the organiser and the platform operator and its technical service providers (hosting, e-mail delivery), which are bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell data.
6. Storage period
We store data only as long as needed for the purpose (e.g. until the event and its follow-up are complete) or as required by law, then delete it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact the organiser using the details above.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at) or the authority in your country.
